Renascent is currently seeking new volunteer Board Directors to help Renascent face the growing challenges of addiction in our communities and develop pathways to recovery and hope for the many people that suffer from addiction.

With our Strategic Plan: and the growing demand for addiction treatment and mental health services, Renascent remains poised to serve the needs of people living with addiction across Ontario.

Renascent is comprised of two not-for-profit organizations, Renascent Fellowship and Renascent Foundation. Renascent Fellowship is one of Ontario’s largest and longest-standing community addiction treatment providers, serving individuals and their loved ones by providing life-saving live-in and virtual/outpatient treatment programs. Renascent Foundation is dedicated to raising funds and resources in support of the programs delivered by Renascent Fellowship, and engages in social enterprise to support and facilitate addiction treatment and prevention. Together, Renascent Fellowship and Renascent Foundation are committed to a Vision of ensuring all individuals, families and loved ones impacted by addiction will have timely access to comprehensive, person-centred and evidence-based treatment.

Currently Recruiting for Directors with the Following Skill Sets/Knowledge/Experience:

  • Labour Relations, Human Resources and Compensation/Benefits
  • Legal expertise and a focus with Not-for-Profit Charities an asset
  • Philanthropy/Fund-Raising interest/experience or expertise
  • Equity, Diversity and Inclusion knowledge/expertise
  • Individuals with lived experience in 12-step recovery, including Renascent Alumni 
  • Represent and/or have knowledge of our priority populations including but not limited to racialized populations, Indigenous, 2SLGBTQ+, low-income families, precariously-housed, and those experiencing homelessness
