Guardian Angels are donors who support Renascent through leadership giving. Every year, these donors are recognized at a special event called the Guardian Angel Donor Recognition Event.

Through their generosity, Guardian Angels help bridge the gap between the government funding Renascent receives and the actual cost of delivering inpatient treatment through our government-funded program. This in turn supports our programs and services which help us provide clients with the skills, guidance, tools and resources they need to begin a journey of recovery.

Today, we must raise $3,000 per person to cover the gap in the full cost of inpatient treatment at Renascent’s 28 day program. Additional funds are needed to cover the cost of Renascent’s Essential Continuing Care, Alumni and Family Program.

Every year at the Guardian Angel Donor Recognition Event, Renascent names two recipients of the Yielding Family Legacy Recovery Award. The Award is given to two recipients who have made a tremendous impact at Renascent and in the recovery community. The awards are in honour of Dr. Ed Yielding, former Medical Director at Renascent, his wife Bobby, who was also his assistant, and their daughter Linda, who supported our work.
