Our charitable status also means that thanks to our generous donors, you’ll never be turned away from addiction treatment because of a lack of funds. Through Renascent Foundation and the Ontario Government, we also offer a publicly funded program available to Ontarians at no cost. Insurance coverage is also accepted.

Our programs are flexible, so you can decide if you need trusted, comprehensive addiction programs in safe, caring treatment centres or in the comfort of your own home.
For example, our live-in, inpatient care programs provide around-the-clock counselling and support from our expert team of clinicians and certified drug and alcohol specialists in safe, home-like addiction treatment centres. Or you can gain access to comprehensive, abstinence-based addiction treatment, support, and counselling from your own home with our intensive virtual care and outpatient programs.
Either way, our flexible treatment options will always be evidence-based, accredited programs designed just for you.
6. We offer gender-specific and gender-diverse care.
At Renascent, it is our priority that we provide a compassionate space for people looking to start their road to recovery. We understand that every person is unique and their experience with addiction involves different needs and concerns that come from their past experiences. Our centres and programs are gender-specific, and we work with gender-diverse individuals in a person-centred way, ensuring the specific needs of all our clients are met. This means that women are counselled by women, men are counselled by men, and our women’s centre welcomes those who self-identify as female. For people who are non-binary, gender-diverse, or are exploring their gender identity, we will work with you to help you decide which centre best meets your needs.

At Renascent, we treat the whole person, not just the addiction. Your care will be personalized to what you need for lasting healing and recovery, and it will be based on only the best, evidence-based and trauma-informed practices that address concurrent mental health issues.
For example, our abstinence-based model integrates 12-Step facilitation with other best practices in clinical and medical approaches. This includes a wide range of therapeutic approaches such as cognitive behavioural techniques, reality therapy, person-centred therapy, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness principles, and art therapy.
In this way, our expert team helps you address and heal the chronic nature of your substance use disorder while also recognizing how addiction impacts families, children, loved ones, workplaces, and communities.
