As you know, Renascent has responded to the challenge brought on by the pandemic by developing innovative Virtual Care Programs that support people living with a substance use disorder, the families who have been affected by their loved one’s struggle, and their children, who have often had to grow up too quickly.
Our Virtual Care Programs are delivered online, using secure healthcare platforms to meet privacy and personal health information requirements. This allows us to meet the needs of people who are experiencing addiction, while also meeting weekly with their family members and every Saturday morning with their children, so that they can fully participate in our comprehensive network of addiction treatment programs without leaving their homes, to ensure an Access to All approach.
Your generous support has allowed us to continue to deliver this vital programming, ensuring that during a time of crisis, important services like counselling for parents, family members, and children aren’t compromised.
Here is what one of our Introduction to Family Care Program participants had to say about their experience:
“Many thanks for these valuable family sessions. I feel like I can talk to my daughter without trying to cure her.
Also, I’ll be taking advantage of the ongoing alumni sessions and feel confident in going forward with supporting my family with all we have gone through.”
