A Message from Karen Martin, Chair – Renascent Fellowship and Renascent Foundation Board of Directors
We are thrilled to share exciting news about the future of Renascent and Renascent Foundation.
After a comprehensive search and evaluation process, the Boards of Directors have appointed Michael Lochran as the new Chief Executive Officer of Renascent and Renascent Foundation, effective December 29, 2025.
Michael brings over ten years of progressive leadership experience at Renascent, most recently in the role of Director of Programs and Operations. Michael leads with a deep commitment to Renascent’s values and mission and brings a powerful combination of strategic insight and operational leadership to achieve organizational growth.
Throughout Michael’s leadership tenure at Renascent, he has led the design and launch of the organization’s first Virtual Intensive Treatment Program, designed and led new models of care during the COVID-19 pandemic, led successful accreditations in 2018 and 2022, and provided system leadership through authorship and chair positions of system collaboratives.
As the need for high quality, specialized addiction and mental health treatment continues to grow, Michael’s vision and leadership will be instrumental in expanding our capabilities, strengthening our networks and resources, and shaping the next generation of innovation across our organization.
We extend our sincerest thanks to Laura Bhoi, Renascent’s outgoing CEO, for her tireless work over the past nine years.  Since she joined Renascent in 2016, Laura has led Renascent to deliver on its mission through collaborative leadership across the organization and with our valued partners and supporters. Over a challenging period, including the pandemic and a growing addiction crisis, Laura provided a steady hand to navigate barriers and build resources and programs to meet the needs of our communities.  Laura has kindly agreed to remain to ensure a smooth CEO transition and her formal last day at Renascent will be January 9.
