Looking for a meaningful way to give back? Host your own fundraiser in support of Renascent—and help provide life-changing addiction treatment to individuals and families across Ontario.

Whether you’re celebrating a birthday, honouring a loved one, organizing a workplace challenge, or planning a creative event, your fundraiser can spark hope and open the door to recovery.

Every dollar you raise helps fund accessible, evidence-based care that empowers people to heal and rebuild their lives.

Step 1

Choose Your Event

There’s no single way to make a difference —pick something that feels meaningful and fun to you. Need inspiration? Here are a few ideas to get started:
  • Social Events: Host a tea party, dinner, concert, fashion show, BBQ, picnic, or craft night.
  • Sports & Games: Plan a tournament, fun run, scavenger hunt, or gaming night.
  • Sell for a Cause: Use your talents to run a craft sale, garage sale, bake sale, or car wash.
  • Celebrate with Purpose: Invite friends and family to donate to Renascent in lieu of gifts for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, graduations, or other special occasions.

Register Your Event

Please complete our event registration form so we can learn more about your plans and provide support.

This agreement outlines the partnership between the Renascent Foundation (the “Foundation”) and the event organizer (the “Organizer”) to ensure a shared understanding of the event purpose and responsibilities.

Once submitted, a Renascent Foundation team member will contact you to discuss your fundraiser and how we can assist.

Set a Goal

Setting a fundraising goal helps motivate your supporters and gives you something to celebrate.

Tip: Make it personal. For example:
“I’m raising $500 because that can help fund Continuing Care support for someone rebuilding their life after addiction.”

Set Up Your Fundraiser on CanadaHelps

You’re almost ready to go!

Looking for a simple way to collect donations, thank your supporters, and send the funds directly to Renascent? We’ve partnered with CanadaHelps—a trusted platform that offers secure giving and low administrative fees.

  1. Create a free CanadaHelps account
  2. Choose Renascent as your charity of choice
  3. Build your page – Add a photo, set a goal, and share why this cause matters to you
  4. Share your fundraiser – Post on social media, email your network, and spread the word
  5. Keep supporters updated – Share milestones and thank your donors as you go

Once you’ve created your page, a member of the Renascent Foundation team will reach out to support your event and answer any questions.

Promote Your Fundraiser

Spread the word to maximize your impact:

  • Share your page on social media
  • Email your friends, family, and coworkers
  • Add a link in your email signature
  • Ask your employer or local businesses to match donations
