Video: Cross-Addiction – The Back Door to Relapse

The problem with cross-addiction is that people will get into recovery, abstain from alcohol and then begin to use another drug for whatever reason, only to find themselves addicted to that new drug the same way they were to the alcohol, and eventually returning to their drug of choice, the alcohol, and winding back up in active addiction with all the problems they had before and probably a few more.
